Hey there!
I’m Pori Chori and I love to cook!
As Chef Gusteau from Ratatouille said: “Everybody can cook!“
And with this in mind you too, should start cooking your meals by yourself!
Cooking gives you a clear insight on what you eat, how much you eat and which quality your ingredients have.
People cook way too less these days, despite the fact how important good food is.
Eating healthy food prevents our body from getting sick. A diet consisting of fresh vegetables and fruits is way more healthy than just eating less. Eating the right things can help you concentrate. It can change your mood.
Food is really one of the key-factors of our life.
And cooking by yourself provides not only the good food you cook but also a great time while cooking!
I use cooking to switch off and free myself from the daily routine I am trapped in. Most of the time I really just think about the food I cook and the next steps I have to do.
Every meal tastes different and you can even repeat the same dishes to try and give another new twist to it.
The possibilities are endless.
But besides freeing your mind, cooking is also something social. Everybody can help in the kitchen. If you think you’re completely untalented in the kitchen (which you are not!), you can at least cut the vegetables or prepare other ingredients. While cooking you have so much time to listen to good music and talk with your friends. And in the end there will be an awesome meal!
If you are short on time, cooking can even further your communication skills with others. Cooking can be a really good team-building exercise. Everybody does their part and the result only tastes that great because of each individual part.
Most of the recipes that you find here are fast and simple. To encourage your creativity and willingness to try things out by yourself, I just rough directions. You will learn how to use the spices by yourself and which measurement tastes the best for you.
Enjoy the time and have fun cooking!
